How to Decorate a Black Christmas Tree

Here are some interior designer tips & tricks for how to decorate a black Christmas tree.

Make sure to use many black wire clear or white Christmas lights #ad on your black Christmas tree.  Make sure to use black wire lights so the wire is not visible in the tree.  

You should decorate with at least one strand of 100 lights per foot height of tree.  If you have a 7 foot tall tree, use 7 strands of 100 lights minimum. 

Feel free to add more if you desire since the color black seems to absorb light. 

If you have a pre-lit tree, you can add more lights to make it really glow.

You can even add a few strands of lights that have a slightly larger bulb to add more dimension.

Since black is a neutral color, you can use any colors that you want for your decor.

White, silver, and/or gold are popular on modern Christmas trees.

Ensure that your garland is evenly spaced around your Christmas tree.

Now it is time to decorate your black Christmas with ornaments. 

If you have a collection of identical or nearly identical ornaments, such as silver spheres, put those on first evenly spaced apart.

Other people like to use floral picks to add some color and texture, such as using picks that look like berries or poinsettia flowers.
