Not Your Grandmother's Ceiling Fan

It seems that ceiling fans are looked down upon these days. Several TV
decorators insist on removing them from homes. Perhaps they are unfamiliar
with the new styles that are available.

Ceiling fans are an energy efficient way of cooling your home. They can
greatly reduce your electic bill and provide you a more comfortable environment.

Most ceiling fans come with light kits attached (or one that is available),
so they serve a dual purpose.

Whether your home is traditional, contemporary, or somewhere in between,
there is a ceiling fan that will compliment your design style.

When selecting a fan, make sure to research the fan size appropriate for your room,
the motor power (which affects noise output), whether the fan operates
on multiple speeds, the reliability of the manufacturer, and any
accessories that are available, such as a remote control or a matching lamp.

If you still do not care for the look of ceiling fans, consider using one that
is the same color as your ceiling and without a light kit, so it will not be
noticeably visible, however will still give you the cool breeze.
